inStyle Painting & Remodeling DFW
Painting in Cedar Hill, TX
Cedar Hill is one of the few DFW cities with actual hills, a ridgeline, and Joe Pool Lake on the west side. That is not a Collin County cul-de-sac. inStyle Painting & Remodeling DFW drives here from 1309 Ballantrae Drive in Allen, which is a farther south Dallas County trip than Plano or Frisco. We still quote when you call. Interiors, exteriors, drywall, cabinets, popcorn ceiling removal, garage floors, and power washing. Certified and insured. Sherwin Williams. By appointment. Painters in Cedar Hill
A Cedar Hill painter has to deal with slope. Hilltop and ridge lots take more wind than a flat Allen street. Lake-side houses take more moisture. Downtown and the older core near Highway 67 are a different stock again: smaller plans, older trim, less HOA theater. We are not a Cedar Hill shop. We will not pretend the drive from Allen is a short hop. What we will do is walk the house, look at the elevations that actually fail, and give you a number before anyone sets a ladder on a grade.
When the full-house wall offer applies, walls are $1 per square foot including professional Sherwin Williams paint, labor, and materials. Example: 2,000 square feet of walls is $2,000. Exteriors on a slope, popcorn, cabinets, and heavy drywall are not in that number. South Dallas County distance does not change the wall offer when it applies. It does change how we schedule the day.
Interior painting in Cedar Hill
Most Cedar Hill interiors we expect to see are 1990s and 2000s brick-house plans: knockdown, builder beige, oak or maple kitchens, and a two-story entry on the larger streets. That is an established suburb, not a 380 boomtown. Popcorn still shows up in earlier High Pointe phases. We treat popcorn as its own scope. Cabinet refinishing is quoted after we see the doors.
Lake Ridge interiors can be a different finish level: taller walls, more trim. We do not copy a High Pointe beige onto a custom Joe Pool house unless you ask and it fits.
Exterior painting in Cedar Hill
Cedar Hill exteriors fail in public on ridges. West and south walls still take North Texas sun. Add wind on a hilltop and you get more beating on fascia, soffits, and the gable that sits above the rest of the street. Uphill and downhill walls are not the same ladder day. We power-wash where the surface can take it, scrape, caulk brick-to-trim joints that clay movement opens, and paint siding, trim, shutters, and doors. Brick stays brick unless you specifically want it coated and your rules allow it. Exterior quotes come from a walk-around, not from the interior wall price. We will not bid a steep lot from a satellite image.
Cedar Hill neighborhoods
We estimate in High Pointe, Lake Ridge, Bear Creek, and the older streets toward downtown Cedar Hill and U.S. 67. High Pointe is a large 1980s planned community with parks, a public improvement district, and a voluntary HOA: production brick, one- and two-story plans. Lake Ridge, on the Joe Pool side, is custom and acreage, with hills and views. Downtown and the older core are smaller and earlier. Lake-side, hilltop, and older-town Cedar Hill are not the same bid. Name the subdivision when you call.
Cedar Hill HOA considerations
High Pointe has a homeowners association plus a PID. Lake Ridge and other planned pockets have their own architectural rules. Older downtown streets may have little or none. We never assume Cedar Hill is no-HOA. Bring the guidelines if you have them. We paint to the list. We do not submit the association form for you. Brick usually stays unpainted. Interior paint is your business.
Common home styles
The Cedar Hill house we see most is a 1990s–2000s brick veneer with fiber-cement or wood in the gables, built on a grade steeper than Collin County. High Pointe leans production. Lake Ridge leans custom. The older core still has simpler one-stories and more original wood trim. Inside, knockdown is common in the planned streets; popcorn is more likely in the earlier phases. We match texture on patches so a 1992 wall does not get a shiny blotch of new mud.
Local climate considerations
Ridge wind and lake moisture sit on top of the usual North Texas heat. Hilltop jobs fail as weathering on edges and as fade on the elevation that sits in the wind. We spec Sherwin Williams for this climate and we do not paint a dripping exterior after a lake storm.
Cedar Hill projects
We do not invent Cedar Hill job photos. Typical work we quote is full interiors on 1990s two-stories, popcorn removal in earlier High Pointe phases, cabinet refinishing in original kitchens, and exterior trim on houses that sit on a slope. The gallery shows labeled examples, not a fake Cedar Hill portfolio. Gallery shots are illustrations only.
Cedar Hill customer testimonials
We have not posted a Cedar Hill-bylined note we can stand behind, so we will not make one up. Third-party company reviews are on Angi. After a Cedar Hill job, you are welcome to put the city in a review.
Cedar Hill FAQs
How far is Cedar Hill from your shop?
The shop is in Allen. Cedar Hill is south Dallas County, past Dallas, on the way to Joe Pool Lake. It is a farther drive than Plano. We still come out for an estimate when you call.
Do sloped lots change the exterior price?
Often yes. Uphill and downhill walls, ridge wind, and extra ladder time are not a flat-lot trim job. We quote after we walk the grade.
Is the $1 / sq ft wall price available in Cedar Hill?
When the offer applies, walls including Sherwin Williams paint, labor, and materials. A 2,000 square foot house is $2,000 to paint all walls. We confirm it at the free estimate.
